Like the MacBook Air Pro, iPad Pro Now Powered by the M1 Chip

Apple officially launched a new iPad Pro. Like the MacBook Air and Pro, this tablet is powered by the Apple M1 chip, making its performance even more crazy than before.

"The 8-core CPU in the iPad Pro makes its performance jump 50% from the previous generation. The 8-core GPU makes the graphics performance 40% faster than its predecessor," claims the technology giant from Cupertino, USA.

Apple also has up to 16 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the internal memory is made twice as fast with a capacity of up to 2 TB.

The new iPad Pro is equipped with a USB Type C port that supports Thunderbolt and USB 4, making it more versatile because of its bandwidth up to 40Gbps, or 4 times more than before. Therefore this tablet can be connected to a Pro Display XDR monitor at Full 6K resolution.

Regarding the screen, the 11 inch iPad Pro carries a Liquid Retina Display which has a resolution of 2388 x 1688 pixels and supports HDR. Especially for the 12.9 inch iPad Pro, it uses a Liquid Retina XDR Display which has a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits and a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels.

For this new screen, Apple installed 10,000 mini LEDs with 2,500 local dimming zones. As a result, the tablet screen is equivalent to Pro Display XDR. That way professionals in the creative industry, including photographers, videographers and filmmakers, can view and edit HDR content on a large screen that they can take anywhere.

iPad Pro now supports 5G. This tablet is equipped with two cameras and a LiDAR sensor on the back.

While on the front, Apple has embedded a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and carries the Center Stage feature. This feature uses the front camera's much larger field of view and the M1's machine learning capabilities to recognize and keep the user in the center of the frame.

The new iPad Pro supports the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio, as well as the Magic Keyboard, which now has a white color variant

The new iPad Pro can be ordered on April 30th, but can only be released in stores in May. The prices (in the United States) are
