Now Apple card users can add co-owners of their Apple Family Sharing Group. Co-owners share the same credit limit and therefore, allow them to add an Apple Card to Apple Pay, check their own spending activity, and more. It is also possible to share your Apple card with other family members who are 13 years and over and that will give them their own spending limit.

So, if you have an Apple Card and want to share it with the rest of your family, follow this article. Here, you will learn how to share your Apple Card on iPhone and iPad.

There are two ways to share an Apple Card. You can add co-owners who will have equal control over your account or create co-credit. You can also add up to five other members of the Family Sharing group who can enjoy the benefits of your Apple Card as a participant.

Those aged 18 and over can apply for the Titanium Apple Card associated with your account, and most importantly you can set transaction limits to ensure they don't overspend. They can also check their own expenses.


How To Share Your Apple Card With Your Family Members?

To set both options, you need to follow these steps on your iPhone running iOS 14.6 or higher:

1. Open the Wallet app

2. Click Your Apple Card

3. Select more button (…)

4. Click on the Share My Card option

5. Then select Continue

6. Select a member from your Family Sharing Group. If no members have been added or you want to add a new member, click Invite Someone.

7. If you want to make the person you choose a co-owner, select Become a Co-Owner. If you want to share your Apple Card, click Add as Participant.

8. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the requested information

9. Click Send Invitation, and after that, authenticate with your passcode.


To Set up your Apple Card sharing options on an iPad with iPadOS 14.6 or higher, follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings app

2. Click on Wallet & Apple Pay

3. Then select the Apple Card option

4. Click on the Info tab

5. Now select the option Share My Card

6. Tap Continue

7. Select your Family Sharing Group members. If you want to add a new member, click Invite Someone.

8. If you want to make the person a co-owner, select the Co-Owner option. If you only want to share your Apple Card, click Add as Participant.

9. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the requested information.

10. Click Send Invitation, and after that, verify it with your passcode.

People you share your Apple Card with will receive a notification. If you've selected the person as a co-owner, they must follow the on-screen instructions to complete their Apple Card Application. If the person is the only participant, they must choose yes to accept your invitation and add the card to their Apple Wallet.


According to some reports, starting July 2021, two Apple Card users can combine their cards as well as credit limits to create one jointly owned account.
